Thanks for acting fast on stolen bike

Special mention also of Kevin Michaux and his son who let me use their phone to contact the CCPO, and for taking it upon themselves to take a drive around the area.

EDITOR – Yesterday evening I went to Spar in Warner Beach on my mountain bike at about 6.30pm.

Upon putting my bike next to the trolleys, directly outside the shop as I have done on numerous occasions a ‘car guard’ approached and said to me he’ll keep an eye on the bike.

After being in the shop for only two minutes, I came out and lo and behold my bike was gone – along with the same ‘car guard’.

Speaking with the proper car guard outside Steers, I ascertained he had gone toward Baggies Beach.

After sprinting back to Spar, Usain Bolt-style, to contact the CCPO, they were there within 10 minutes.

I gave Jason from CCPO a description of the bike and thief.

Within an hour, I had my bike back courtesy of the CCPO. I cannot thank them enough. Again, thank you Jason. You guys are a real asset to the community,

Special mention also of Kevin Michaux and his son who let me use their phone to contact the CCPO, and for taking it upon themselves to take a drive around the area.
