THE Toti nippers put Saturday’s great weather to good use.

The older children were able to dust off their knee boards and put them in the sea after a spate of bad weather training days. Well done to Jordan, JP, Meaghan, and Christiaan on their first backline paddle at Toti beach. The surf conditions made for some good surf swim training and everyone was able to make the easy swim round the buoy.

Despite the small surf, Kamogelo still managed to get dumped on her knee board. JP Vlieland has started the season strong, winning the long run, surf swim and board training. The rest of the boys are going to have to work hard to keep up to him this year.

Toti nippers meet at Toti main beach every Saturday morning from 8am until 10am. The club would love to have more nippers, so if you have children between the ages of 6 and 13 years old, join in for some fun in the sun. For more information, call Katy on 082-905-2666.
