RWFL softens the licence knock for athletes

It is that time of the year where we all need to budget for the Athletics club 2014 renewal.

RUN Walk For Life (RWFL) Toti invites the public to join in a free session, to gain the health and mental benefits of walking or jogging in groups on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

It is that time of the year when all athletes need to budget for the athletics club 2014 license renewal. While ASA has increased its licence fees, RWFL will not increase its fees but actually decrease members’ fees on the programme.

They will pay only R120 to belong to the club, which includes an ASA number. The rest will pay R250, the same as this year, which also includes the ASA licence number.

Events coming up include the year-end function on Saturday, 23 November at Umbogavango Nature Reserve (AECI next to Southgate Industrial Park). Let Jan know if you will attend as numbers must be confirmed and details left with the security at AECI.

There are no races in November but on Saturday, 2 December it is the Stainbank 15km. Then on Sunday, 8 December it is the Illovo Christmas Challenge. Members are invited to come up with ideas to have a fun day.

On Saturday there will be a 15km run and walk at 6am from Amanzimtoti High. There are no races this weekend.
