Tennis club serves up Valentine’s tourney

If your child shows an interest in learning to play tennis, take them down to the courts on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am.

AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club reports that work on their courts one, two and three is ongoing.

Progress is looking good and as long as the weather stays fine, the job may be completed in a couple more weeks.

Social tennis continues on Saturday afternoon on three courts. Thanks to the members for their co-operation and patience while waiting to play.

The club’s development clinic for primary school children has commenced for the first school term. If your child shows an interest in learning to play tennis, take them down to the courts on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. Madi and Gabriel are on hand to show the children how it’s done. Tennis racquets are available for use and children should ideally wear tennis type shoes.

For the midweek women, Glenashley Tennis Club’s annual Valentine tournament is set to take place on Wednesday, 15 February. Check the notice board for the details and contact numbers should you wish to participate.
