Doonside angling club baits up for first compo of 2018
The next club meeting will take place at Warnadoone Angling Club from 6pm on Thursday, 18 January.
DOONSIDE Angling Social Fishing Club held its first fishing competition for the year on Sunday, 7 January.
The members fished just before Chain Rocks in Doonside where two skates, one shade and two sand soldiers were caught.
After a day out on the beach, members came together for a meeting at the club house at Warnadoone Angling Club.
The newly elected committee for 2018 are chairman Hennie Cornelissen, vice chairman Ian Walker (aka Monkey) and fines master Richard Prowse (aka Jelly Belly).
The next club meeting will take place at Warnadoone Angling Club from 6pm on Thursday, 18 January.
