Tiffany Koch qualifies for K2 quarter-finals at Olympics

Tiffany Koch and her paddling partner, Esti Olivier, got off to a good start at the Olympic Games.

AMANZIMTOTI’S Tiffany Koch and her paddling partner, Esti Olivier, have progressed to the canoeing quarter-finals in their first Olympic race today (August 6).

Tiffany and Esti placed fifth in the women’s K2 500m with a time of 01.52.14. The quarter-final race will be held later today.

The sprinting ace is a member of the Toti Canoe Club and is competing in her second Olympic games after London 2012. On August 7, she will compete in solo races (K1) at 12:10 and 14:10 – if she makes it to the K1 quarter-finals.
