TOTI United Football Club girls Soccer Team has earned a shot at competing in Johannesburg this October for a soccer tour and the club hopes for support to make the trip a success.

Val Naidoo of Toti United Football Club put out a heartfelt request for assistance as the club has several disadvantaged players whose families are unable to afford the full cost of the tour.

“We do not want financial circumstances to prevent these talented young girls from taking part in an opportunity they have worked so hard for. For many of our players, this tour is more than a soccer trip, it is an opportunity to grow, build confidence, experience new places and represent their team with pride,” said Naidoo.

The girls have not been sitting back and waiting for others to help them and have been actively doing their part by taking donation forms into the community and working hard to raise funds themselves. They have also been looking for different ways to contribute towards their tour expenses, like doing car washes before games.

“These young girls are showing determination, commitment and a willingness to work for their dreams. All they are asking for now is a little support from their community to help them reach their goal. We kindly appeal to individuals, families, businesses and organisations able to assist, whether through a financial donation, sponsorship, or any other form of support,” she said.

She added that any support provided will not only help the girls compete, but also show them their community believes in them and wants to see them succeed.

“We sincerely thank you for taking the time to consider our request and for supporting the dreams of our young ladies. Together, we can make this Johannesburg tour possible for every player,” she concluded.
