Amanzimtoti pickleball courts open to charity tournaments

Pickleball Africa chairperson, Michelle Kriese, has opened up Amanzimtoti's pickleball courts to charities for fundraising tournaments.

IN A BID to give back to the community Pickleball Africa will open up the pickleball courts in Amanzimtoti Tennis Club to charities and NPOs to host pickleball tournaments.

The organisation has pioneered the sport in KZN, building the first pickleball courts in the province and organising the first leagues and tournaments.

Michelle Kriese, chairperson of Pickleball Africa, said, “We wish to offer the Amanzimtoti pickleball courts as a means of creating income for welfare, charities, NPOs and schools. The venue and equipment will be free of charge and Pickleball Africa will teach the organisers how to hold a tournament or socials for the fundraiser. We are more than happy to give back to the community as well as get the beautiful sport played by all.”
