Here is how you can see the new Sapphire Coast Marathon route
Amanzimtoti Athletics Club is gearing up for its annual Sapphire Coast Marathon and recently unveiled the race's new route.
A STAPLE for runners along the South Coast is the Sapphire Coast Marathon, which recently unveiled an all-new route for the October 25 race, offering 10km, 21.1km and a Comrades Marathon qualifier 42.2km route.

The marathon starts and finishes at Amanzimtoti Athletic Club. The club expects around 2000 athletes on the day and would like the community to be aware that there may be slow-downs and traffic congestion at certain critical cross-over points along the route.

What runners should know
• Enter online at www.racepass.com. For race enquiries, contact Renier on 066 270 8772 or email toti.ac.racedirector@gmail.com.
• All finishers receive a medal.
• Free t-shirts to first 1 000 online entries only. No free t-shirts for 70+ runners, though one can be ordered online.
• Early bird entries close on October 5 while late online entries close October 20.
• Late entries and race pack collection can be done from 16:00-19:00 on October 23, 10:00-16:00 on October 24 and from 04:30 on race day. No entries are allowed on race day.
