SATURDAY, 11 JUNE: The Reformed Church is having a Christmas market from 9am at Mooi Hawens hall. Go along and buy your gifts early.

MONDAY, 13 JUNE: South African Association of Retired Persons (SAARP) Toti seniors monthly meeting at 9.30am for 10am in the main library activities room. Annatjie Demetrieu, hospital manager at Kingsway Hospital, will speak about the developments taking place there.

TUESDAY, 14 JUNE: Amanzimtoti Women’s Institute meets at 9.15am on the second Tuesday of each month in the activities room adjacent to Toti library. Go along to enjoy fellowship with friends and make some new ones. For enquiries call Yvonne Dixie on 031-903-1942.

SATURDAY, 18 JUNE: Park Rynie Sai Centre hosts a blood donor clinic at the Scottburgh Shoprite Checkers from 9am to 3pm. A humble appeal to all donors in the Umzinto, Scottburgh and surrounding areas to support the clinic by donating. If you cannot donate blood, take along a friend or a family member to donate. There is currently a critical shortage of blood.

WEDNESDAY, 22 JUNE: 21 Club luncheon ‘Autumn in Africa’ will he held at at Lords and Legends conference room at noon for 12.30pm. Guest speaker is Wendy Forse who will speak on ‘fracking’. THURSDAY, 22 JULY and FRIDAY, 23 JULY: St Mary’s Anglican Church holds an Once Upon A Fairy Tale evening. Have you ever wondered what would happen if Snow White and Cinderella fell in love with the same prince? Tickets on 22 July are R50 (take your own snacks) and on 23 July, R70 which includes a meal. SUNDAY, 7 AUGUST: An Amanzimtoti rugby and cricket annual golf day takes place at Toti golf course, driven by Mark White Nissan Amanzimtoti. Costs are R1,500 for a scramble drive fourball, along with halfway meal voucher/dinner/prize-giving. Sponsor a tee or hole at R500. Alternatively, combo one R1,800 fourball tee or green combo two R2,300 fourball tee and green. All proceeds go to the rugby and cricket clubs.
