Chloe Gibb of Umbogintwini Primary School said, “Each learner wore their colours with pride, embracing neurodiversity and standing in solidarity with every unique mind. We thoroughly enjoyed supporting the Bridge Children’s Centre’s worthy cause. It was a reminder that small acts of unity create powerful waves of change.”
Proceeds from the almost 300 stickers sold for R10 on the day amounted to nearly R3000, which raised money towards the children’s centre, which caters to special needs children. Bridge Children’s Centre has three campuses within Amanzimtoti and endeavours to create a safe space for learners to thrive, be empowered and reach their full potential.
“We are a small school but we really enjoy giving back to the community,” said Sinead Thomas, departmental head of senior primary.
