Cat sanctuary needs donation

Second Chance Sanctuary on the Bluff calls on the public to give a 'happily ever-after' to abandoned kittens.

Founded in 2009, the non-profit sanctuary houses 91 abused and abandoned cats. They are calling on the public to assist them.

“We rely solely on donations, book sales and our virtual adoption programme to keep the sanctuary running. Due to the extreme situations these cats come from, they need constant specialised treatment, veterinary care and high quality food to keep their weak immune systems going. The sanctuary also relies on volunteers to foster homeless animals until they can be adopted into their forever homes,” said founder, Cherece du Plessis.

If anyone is willing to assist with donations or to adopt a kitten, contact Cherece on cherecedup@gmail.com.
