Toy run treats Wentworth, Clairwood children

Gospel on da Go Motorcyle Club, based on the Bluff hosted its annual toy run to spread some festive cheer in the Wentworth and Clairwood communities on Saturday, 7 December.

Bikers gathered at Southway Mall, where toys were collected, before a convoy of cars and motorcycles headed off into Wentworth. Woodville and Burgers road children were treated to hotdogs, party packs and took home toys before the team visited Clairwood in their last stop.

Co-president of Gospel on da Go, Dominic Samuels said: “The toy run was emotional and humbling. We hope to have clothes and more food next year so we don’t leave out the adults. We have received offers from Australia for a shipment of toys for our next event.”
