IT was party time at Woodlands Womens Institute (WI), when members celebrated the institute’s 53rd birthday and prize-giving on Friday, 2 May.
President, Maureen Lavis opened the meeting by welcoming guests and saying the Mary Stewart Collect.
The awarding of trophies and prizes was followed by cutting the birthday cake by longest serving member, May Scott. The very yummy, beautifully iced and decorated cake was made by talented member, Martie Caldwell.
