Margaret says it with flowers at WI meeting
Competition results: Best bloom: First N Brown 95.

MARGARET Everett gave a most interesting floral demonstration at the Bushlands Women’s Institute May meeting and highlighted the importance of using the correct ‘mechanics’ and vases .
The results were quite amazing.
Great arrangements are expected on the floral competition table at the June meeting.
Except for the absence of Hazel Caldwell, who is on holiday in the USA, it was ‘full house’ once again. Marie Brown and Marlene Jones managed to attain second and third places respectively at the group AGM, and were congratulated. Sigrid White was wished happy birthday for 4 May. Raffle prizes were won by L Rudolph and Yvonne Lane. Members were reminded to take raffle prizes and a coloured-in picture to the next meeting. Hazel Lochner was once again thanked for the beautiful crochet blankets.
