Illegal Bluff poster squad on the beat this weekend

Volunteer this weekend.

ROUND two of the ward 66 illegal poster removal campaign takes place this weekend.

The first removal campaign, with seven volunteers, saw nearly 400 illegal posters removed from around the ward on Sunday, 19 February.

Headed by ward councilor, JP Prinsloo, the ongoing campaign aims to tackle the plague of illegal signage in a bid to improve the aesthetics of the suburb.

Contact details and information collected from the signs is being recorded and will be sent to the municipality’s signage department for prosecution.

This Saturday, 4 March volunteers can meet in the Bluff Eco Park parking lot at 8.30am to join the campaign.

For information, call JP Prinsloo on 083-406-2525 or email ward66@ethekwini.org.
