How many have you seen or are you planning to watch? What other movies are you excited about?
I am excited about It, even though the original 1990 miniseries starring the brilliant Tim Curry, gave me nightmares as a child. I have already booked my tickets to watch Beauty and Beast and as a huge fan of both the Marvel and DC movie-verses, controversial as that may be, I can’t wait to watch Justice League and Spider-Man: Homecoming. I must admit to being sad to see Hugh Jackman in his final role as Wolverine in Logan.
Who am I kidding? I’ll probably watch all of these and more than once.

Beauty and the Beast (Romance/Fantasy/Musical)

A live-action retelling of the classic tale of love conquering a curse that left a man trapped in the body of a beast. Take your partner and enjoy the romance and spectacle. This movie stars Emma Watson (of Harry Potter fame) and Dan Stevens (of Downton Abbey) as the eponymous Beauty and the Beast. Directed by Bill Condon.
Get Out (Horror/Mystery)

An African-American man meets his caucasian girlfriend’s family on their mysterious estate. If you love a bit of intrigue, this one’s for you. Directed by Jordan Peele.
Spider-Man: Homecoming (Sci-Fi/Action/Adventure)

The next movie in the Marvel cinematic universe. After Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man was introduced in Captain America: Civil War, we now get to see how the new superhero balances high school and saving lives. One for all the Marvel fans. Directed by Jon Watts.
Power Rangers (Sci-Fi/Action/Adventure)

Like the TV shows you grew up with, this movie follows a group of teenagers who use their mighty morphin’ powers to fight evil. Enjoy a bit of nostalgia with this film. Directed by Dean Israelite.
Justice League (Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Action/Adventure)

Bruce Wayne AKA Batman brings together a formidable crew of superheroes to tackle a terrifying foe. Watch Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot head a star line-up in this DC Comics movie, which follows on from Batman v Superman. Directed by Zack Snyder.
Ghost in the Shell (Sci-Fi/Mystery/Action/Crime/Thriller/Drama)

Major (Scarlett Johansson), a cyber-enhanced human, works as a soldier in the fight against some of the deadliest criminals. Fans of the 1995 anime-film of the same name should enjoy this remake. Directed by Rupert Sanders.
Logan (Sci-Fi/Thriller/Action/Drama)

Wolverine’s (Hugh Jackman) attempts to hide from the world are upended when a mysterious young mutant enters his life. Catch Hugh Jackman in his final performance as this beloved character. Directed by James Mangold.

Set aboard the International Space Station, this movie follows a crew, which includes Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds, who find a life form that caused the extinction of life on Mars. One for all the space and horror fans. Directed by Daniel Espinosa.
Kong: Skull Island (Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Action/Adventure)

Like many other tales about this mysterious land, this one tells the story of a group of scientists who track down the great gorilla and face the consequences. A great movies for those who love adventure and fans of Tom Hiddleston or Samuel L. Jackson. Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts.
