Calling all super dogs to unite for guide dogs walk
Every super hero will be presented with a cape
ON Sunday, 23 April, together with guide dog organisations across Europe, the SA Guide Dog Association is holding the only dog walk of its kind – where the dog is the hero of the hour and every super hero will be presented with a cape.
In South Africa, it’s happening in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, with the Durban walk taking place at Virginia Beach next to Virginia Airport. Registration starts from 7.30am and the walk starts at 9am.
The cost is R50 per dog and R30 per person. Telephone bookings can be made to 086-100-0291, and you can order the size of the cape you need for your pet. For further information, call Ane on 082-875-6244 or email AneR@guidedog.org.za.
