WATCH: Durban safety video urges caution by motorists
Safety begins with the individuals to be responsible on the roads
ETHEKWINI Municipality has published a road safety video to wish all road users a safe journey during the Easter weekend.
Durban mayor, Cllr Zandile Gumede urged road users to wear seat belts, not to drink and drive and to refrain from using cellphones while driving. She encouraged designated drivers to ensure a safer road trip.

“The city’s Metro Police, Fire and Emergency Rescue, Transport Authority, Disaster Management and Santaco have pledged to ensure that the Easter holiday is safe. But safety begins with the individuals to be responsible on the roads and adhere to the rules of the road,” said Cllr Gumede.
