Montclair pupils voice their opinions at silent walk

HUNDREDS of Mowat Park pupils marched in silence on Friday, 26 May against women abuse and violence.
This follows a wave of killings and kidnappings of women which has gripped South Africa.
Stories about the recent brutal attacks sent shock waves among women and men who fear for the lives of their loved ones.
Over the past few months, the number of young women and children falling prey to kidnappings and horrific rapes has increased. People feel they risk their lives daily by doing something as simple as walking to work or even to local shops.
