Spring takes root at Bluff school
In a few months, the school will be adorned with the beautiful flowers planted by the pupils
SPRING Day is not just about flowery clothing and pretty hats.
For Glenardle Junior Primary it has a deeper meaning for the pupils and teachers who not only supported the Casual Day project but did their bit for nature by planting seedlings on the school grounds on Friday, 1 September.

Principal, Ms Bedesi said the children came to school donned in colourful clothing and Spring hats to celebrate the day but also ready to plant and learn about nature on this special day. “As part of their life skill curriculum, grade 1 to 3 pupils with the help from their teachers, planted seedlings around the school. We educated them about the environment and how to take care of it.. We encouraged the children to spend more time outdoors and with nature by being more interactive with plants and the animals,” said Ms Bedesi.
In a few months, the school will be adorned with the beautiful flowers planted by the pupils, a beautiful surprise for them, knowing that they worked hard to take care of the little seedlings.
