M4 motorists delayed by Merebank protest action
Metro and Wentworth SAPS are at the scene
MOTORISTS travelling towards the M4 and going into Merebank have been experiencing delays because of a protest action on Barrier Lane, outside the old Clairwood Racecourse site gates.

Wentworth SAPS communication officer, Capt Mbuso Gumede confirmed the protest and said the people are demanding employment at the construction site that was once Clairwood Racecourse. “Wentworth SAPS and Metro are on standby,” added Capt Gumede.
