Montwood Ratepayers’ Association hosts successful Easter egg hunt

Children were treated to loads of fun and an Easter egg hunt at the Montclair Recreational Hall. The funds raised will go towards kitting the tiles in the bathroom of the Montclair Recreational Hall.

MONTWOOD Ratepayers’ Association orchestrated a delightful Easter egg hunt for the children of the community at the Montclair Recreational Hall on March 29. The event was a resounding success, bringing together families for a day filled with joy and festive activities.

The Montclair Recreational Hall’s garden was transformed into a playground of fun, with a jumping castle, providing loads of fun for the children. Amid the laughter and play, children were treated to Easter goody bags, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event.

These bags were filled with treats that brought smiles to the faces of the little ones, making the occasion even more memorable.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Easter egg hunt, which took place in the garden surrounding the Montclair Recreational Hall. Children eagerly dashed around as they searched for hidden treasures. Parents looked on with pride and excitement, cheering on their little ones as they scoured every nook and cranny for Easter eggs.

Brett Jennings, the chairman of the Montwood Ratepayers’ Association, expressed his delight at the success of the event.

“The Easter Party is a tradition which we are keen to keep. This party is one of a few events which will take place for the children of Montwood. The party was a success, and we look forward to going bigger next year,” said Jennings.

Heidi Geyser, treasurer of the Montwood Ratepayers’ Association, said, “She is grateful to everyone who came out. All the money raised will go towards kitting the tiles in the bathroom of the Montclair Recreational Hall.”
