Montwood Ratepayers’ Association set to host egg-stravaganza

Members of the association are planning a festive day filled with fun activities for the children.

THE Montwood Ratepayers’ Association is gearing up for an extravagant Easter celebration – they are hosting an Easter egg hunt, and launching a drive to collect Easter eggs for the event, on March 29.

Aimed at bringing joy to the faces of children, the event will take place at the Montclair Recreational Hall. Members of the association have been actively encouraging the community to donate Easter eggs, ensuring a memorable experience for all children involved.

Heidi Geyser, treasurer of the association, expressed the goal of spreading the Easter spirit and fostering neighbourhood togetherness through their egg-collection initiative.

“The Easter egg hunt marks the beginning of a day filled with festivities. Planned activities include a jumping castle, party packs for participating children and delicious hotdogs to add to the festive atmosphere,” said Geyser.

Beyond providing a day of enjoyment, the association’s efforts support the renovation and maintenance of the Montclair Recreational Hall. The entry fee for the Easter egg hunt is R20, with all proceeds directed toward this community space-enhancement project.

Those interested in contributing to the Easter egg drive can make monetary donations to the Montwood Ratepayers’ Association’s bank account:
