IN an electrifying football showdown at the Badulla grounds, Ridgeview FC demonstrated remarkable resilience and tenacity as they staged a dramatic comeback to secure a victory against Langa FC recently.

Despite being down 2–1 at halftime, Ridgeview FC roared back in the second half, ultimately achieving a stunning 4–2 triumph that kept fans riveted until the final whistle.

The match kicked off with a fierce display of skill and strategy from both teams, with Langa FC seizing an early lead, much to the dismay of Ridgeview FC supporters. However, undeterred by the early setback, Ridgeview FC maintained their composure and focus, heading into the half-time break trailing by just one goal.

The game’s momentum shifted dramatically in the second half as Ridgeview FC launched an unstoppable offensive assault, overwhelming Langa FC’s defence with their speed and precision. The comeback was spearheaded by a standout performance from Rudeshan Naidoo, who scored two pivotal goals, swinging the match in Ridgeview FC’s favour.

Adding to the drama, Sashen Chetty and striker Kyle Johnson also found the back of the net, sealing Ridgeview FC’s thrilling four-goal resurgence. The team’s cohesive play and unwavering determination left both fans and pundits in awe.
