THE Harlequins market was buzzing with activity on August 24. The staple local market persisted in continuing to provide its customers with a variety of stalls despite the strong winds on the day.
People strolled through rows of local vendors, offering everything from clothes and books to appliances and food. The heavy winds proved to be an issue for many stall vendors, but that did not deter them from selling.
Take a look at some of the shots from this past week’s market:
The Brighton Beach Victim Friendly Centre and Bluff Assist were present to recruit more volunteers and introduce themselves to the community.
Father and son, Gert and Ethan Human, brace against the heavy winds to deliver a stellar smile.
Dawood Carim and Eshan Moodley, representing Zari’s Kitchen, show off their welcoming smiles and stall.
The Hocus Pocus Help team’s Monique Adams and Merle Hennings brought their thrift store to the market.
