There was a lively mixture of activities ranging from Christmas carol singing and live dancing, to line dancing. There were two DJs that kept the pace with their music, humour and loads of laughter, not to mention the various lucky draws during the day that added the element of excitement.

The members were treated to an array of snacks and teas before a delicious lunch was served.

“It is a lovely atmosphere being with our members, socialising, enjoying teas, snacks and a scrumptious lunch,” said chairperson Mogie Govender. “We are now closed for the year and will reopen in the new year. Thank you to everyone for your support.”

It was a perfect way to wrap up the year for the members who attended, as it meant not only a hearty meal but also the joy of connecting with fellow seniors.
