Boarding facilities at the SPCA this festive season

If you are planning to go away this festive season, consider leaving your furry friends with the SPCA’s boarding kennel facilities.

THE Durban and Coast SPCA opens temporary boarding kennels to accommodate dogs, thereby offering all pet owners an opportunity of a safe and caring location for their dogs during the festive season.

Its facilities are maintained to provide dogs with superior care to include regular walking and playtime outdoors in a play area reserved for that purpose.

Boarding rates depend on the size and weight of the dog and can be as low as R120 for smaller breeds to R250 for larger dogs. There is an additional cost for bitches on heat.

Important rules:

  • Vaccination requirement: Proof of current vaccinations is required. Animals without current vaccinations will not be accepted at any time.
  • Age restriction: Animals less than 10 months old are not accepted.
