Five people injured in incident on The Bluff

An unknown incident led to multiple people being injured, of which three were children, on The Bluff this morning.

ALS Paramedics were alerted to a casualty scene on The Bluff this morning (March 8) when they received numerous calls of injured children at the corner of Zinhle Cele Road and Ethevale Road.

Arriving shortly after 09:30, Garrith Jamieson, ALS Paramedics spokesperson, said they found five people injured, including three children.

“Multiple ALS Paramedics ambulances and advanced life support paramedics worked to stabilise the five patients on scene before transporting them to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required,” said Jamieson.

The events leading up to the incident are unknown, however authorities were on scene and the Brighton Beach police station will be investigating further.
