Clairwood residents urged to prepare for one-hour power cut

The supply interruption is required to allow eThekwini Electricity to safely energise the 33kV Bayhead circuit, at the Rossburgh substation.

THE public is advised of planned electricity outage which will interrupt electricity supply on Sunday, July 13 for one hour from 15:30 to 16:30.

The supply interruption is required to allow eThekwini Electricity to safely energise the 33kV Bayhead, Rossburgh circuit at the Rossburgh substation. Only the Karim Lane substation will be affected by this outage.

Parts of the following areas will be affected:
  • Clairwood
  • Rossburgh
  • Seaview

Residents are reminded that the same group that was affected by the outage on July 6 at around 08:00, will be affected by this planned outage.

Residents in the affected areas are urged to plan for this outage and treat all electrical installations as live.
