Yellowwood Park residents’ hands on the buzzer

The Yellowwood Park residents got quizzing as the club held one its much anticipated quiz nights at the sports club.

THE Yellowwood Park Sports Club was filled with a flurry of mini arguments as teams worked to figure out the answers at the club’s quiz night on April 15.

Teams engaged in a series of general knowledge questions over four rounds. Each round contained a combination of 20 random questions with the difficulty increasing per round.

The evening, curated by Erika Smith, drew three teams, consisting of 11 players. Smith was on the receiving end of backlash as some questions were straightforward trivia while others were more intellectually stimulating that teams joked were too difficult. Despite the modest size of the group, the competitive spirit was notably intense, with the final scores showing the slightest variations between teams.

“The final scores were 57, 58 and the winning team finished with 60 points,” said Smith.

Beyond the test of knowledge, the event brought together residents for some pure community fun.

Community invitation

Smith encourages other community members to come be a part of the club’s quiz nights.

“We’d love to see more people come through and be part of our quiz nights. Follow the Yellowwood Park Sports Club on Facebook to find out when the next event is,” said Smith.
