The operation

Around 17:00, members of the CPF received a BOLO (be on the lookout) alert about a vehicle reportedly implicated in an attempted theft at a The Bluff service station.

Soon after, a tactical manager from YT Security Services located the suspect vehicle at a nearby shopping centre. Authorities began to observe the vehicle, waiting for additional support units to arrive before a combined response was initiated.

This operation resulted in the apprehension of three suspects without any reported incidents.

Combined efforts

Numerous law enforcement and private security entities played significant roles throughout this operation, including TRSS, Metro K9 Unit, CPI K9 Unit, ET Rapid Response and The Bluff CPF.

Investigations are now proceeding to ascertain whether these suspects, along with the vehicle they used, might be connected to other criminal activities within the area.

The Bluff CPF specifically commended the prompt reaction, the smooth coordination and the high level of professionalism shown by all teams engaged.
