Two suspects nabbed for burglary, theft cases on The Bluff  

A joint operation team was swiftly assembled, comprising Blue Security, Bluff CPF and members of the Brighton Beach police station.

TWO suspects were apprehended on The Bluff recently for multiple cases of burglary and theft.

The Bluff Community Police Forum (CPF) reported that their members received information about the whereabouts of the first suspect who was wanted for cases of burglary and theft. The suspect was believed to be hiding in the Austerville area.

A joint operation team was swiftly assembled, comprising Blue Security tactical members, Bluff CPF, and detectives from the Brighton Beach police station.

Chairperson of the CPF, Sidney Govindsamy, said a team proceeded to the identified location and apprehended the suspect at his hideout.

“A follow-up operation was conducted shortly thereafter to trace another suspect linked to a separate matter in the Umbilo area. The team acted promptly on the information and located and apprehended the second suspect,” said Govindsamy.

Both suspects were handed over to the police for further investigation and processing. They are expected to appear in court on charges of burglary and theft.
