Police hunt suspects after Montclair supermarket robbery
The armed men entered the business on Wingate Road in Montclair and held up the owner and his employee at gunpoint.
POLICE in Montclair are investigating a business robbery after six armed men robbed a supermarket on Wingate Road in Montclair on August 6.
Police spokesperson in Montclair Constable Norah Ndlovu said the armed men entered the business and held up the owner and his employee at gunpoint.
“They then pushed the pair to the floor, and took their cellphones, cigarettes and money from the shop,” said Ndlovu.

The suspects fled the scene in their getaway vehicle.
“No shots were fired during the attack, and no injuries reported. Police opened a case of business robbery,” Ndlovu added.
Police are appealing to the public who may have witnessed the incident to contact the Montclair police station on 031 462 6219.
