GIVING back to those less fortunate than you are is the perfect way to spread the spirit of Christmas.
While festive cheer makes its way to homes across the world, Wentworth Angels has begun the preparations for their annual Christmas initiatives and have invited those who wish to brighten the lives of children and the elderly to join them.
Founder of the organisation, Tracey Williams, said although this will be the organisation’s last two months before its doors close permanently, she will ensure that she does everything in her power to make it a memorable Christmas.
With hopes of the organisation’s annual Adopt a Child campaign, which enables the community to sponsors an underprivileged child by buying them clothing, shoes and toiletries, soon kicking off, Williams said donors were invited to jump on board to make a difference.

A Christmas party scheduled for December 16, in Wentworth will include the distribution of hot meals, party packs for the children and grocery hampers for the senior citizens.
“We hope to make our last Christmas drive a special one, filled with love and light to brighten the community, which I hold close to my heart. I urge residents to donate and support the initiatives as together, we can make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate,” said Williams.
