The Naidoo brothers, who are members of the Seagulls swimming club in The Bluff, joined the marine Nippers club recently and were proud to have completed the challenge. Ronald Naidoo, their proud dad, said he was excited to see his sons, all lovers of the sea, train daily for the swim.
“They love swimming at the Lieutenant King municipal pool on The Bluff as often as possible. All three of them trained hard and put in many hours of exercise and swimming to be able to compete in the milestone anniversary swim,” said Naidoo.
The trio has competed in nipper carnivals and open water swims. While Reily had his first experience swimming the Midmar Mile in 2020, it was the second time that Ryder and Reichlin have entered.
