Lieutenant King swimming pool forced to close

Ward 66 councillor Zoe Solomon says there is algae in the water because the pool had no chemicals.

DUE to not having chemicals to maintain Lieutenant King Swimming Pool on The Bluff, the pool had to be closed as the water is highly polluted.

Ward 66 councillor Zoe Solomon says there is rapid growth of algae in the water as a result of the pool having no chemicals.

“I have sent an urgent appeal to the head of pools for intervention, and we are hoping that the chemicals will be obtained and the pool can be used by residents, once again,” adds Solomon.
