Donate towards free shopping experience for vulnerable residents

With winter heading our way, a small toy, an apple or a jersey will go a very long way.

THE Ward 66 Vulnerable Groups sub-committee will host their Unicorn Shopping and Sunshine Shopping experience, where residents who cannot afford to purchase clothes, can shop for second hand items, free of charge.

The popular initiative will be held on April 22, between 09:00 and 11:00, at the outside gym are on Lighthouse Road.

The sub-committee’s Chantal Bransgrove-Bower, said, “This is where both the vulnerable children and adults of Ward 66 are able to come ‘shop’ for a few second hand items, at no cost. This is an initiative for those who really just need a helping hand.

“Parents will be required to accompany their children. Residents can spread the message to those that need help so that together, we can spread some cheer in the community, some warmth in hearts, and also help keep people warm.
