Yellowwood Park residents enjoy bingo blitz

Yellowwood Park Sports Club saw a large turnout as residents gathered to compete in some friendly competition of bingo.

YELLOWWOOD Park Sports Club was filled with cheers, laughter and bingos as 26 enthusiastic residents gathered for the club’s regular bingo nights on November 5.

Contestants competed in several rounds trying to achieve the different types of bingo, including top row, second and third row, corner to corner and the popular full house. Participants were determined to walk away with one of the many prizes to be won. These included chocolates, coffee mugs with cappuccino and biscuits, car windscreen visors and notebook with a pen or pencil sets.

Erika Smith, organiser of the night, said many people joined – some were returning players and the rest were newcomers.

“Everyone is welcome to attend, even if you’re not a member of the club. It is all about community, fun and meeting new people. Bingo night gives our residents something to look forward to and brings us together,” she said.
