Bluff Christian Academy learners raise funds for new playground

Selling smiles and cakes, the foundation phase learners at Bluff Christian Academy worked to raise funds for a new playground.

BLUFF Christian Academy (BCA) was a whirl of colour and smiles on August 22, as the foundation phase held a cake sale and civvies day to help raise funds towards their foundation phase project.

Dressed in their best clothes, foundation phase learners proudly sported their themed attires of brightly coloured outfits.  A part from supporting the theme the senior and high school learners also supported the young learners by buying sweet treats from the many stalls.

Ntozinhle Nkomo, events co-ordinator and marketing manager at BCA, said that each phase of the school has a fundraising project that they work towards. “For the foundation phase learners, the proceeds raised will go towards improving and refurbishing our school playground so that it continues to be a safe and fun environment for our children,” said Nkomo.

She extended her thanks to the parents and learners for their continuous support.

Nkomo said the school is also appealing to The Bluff community and businesses to help sponsor materials or whatever else possible to help create a better environment for the learners.

Anyone interested can contact Ntozinhle on email at info@bluffchristianacademy.org.za or by sending a Whatsapp to 079 422 2591.

“Your donation will help leave a lasting legacy for our learners,” said Nkomo.
