NOTICE OF VARIATION OF ATMOSPHERIC LICENSE FOR BLENDCOR PTY LTD IN TERMS OF THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT: AIR QUALITY ACT, 2004 (ACT 39 OF 2004), AS AMENDED. AEL051/S3 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT BLENDCOR PTY LTD IS APPLYING FOR A VARIATION OF THEIR ATMOSPHERIC EMISSION LICENCE (AEL) IN TERMS OF SECTION 46(1)(D) OF THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT ACT (NO. 39 OF 2004) WITH THE ETHEKWINI MUNICIPALITY FOR THEIR SITE LOCATED AT 135 HONSHU ROAD, ISLAND VIEW, BLUFF. The facility provides for storage of facilities of Petroleum products (Base oils, additives and lubricating oils) which is stored in 53 tanks. This variation application relates to the addition of four (4) tanks for additive storage relating to the following section 21 listed activity: CATEGORY SUB-CATEGORY 2. Petroleum Industry 2.4: Storage and Handling of Petroleum Products All persons who wish to register as interested and affected parties in order to comment on the variation application of the Air Emission License for Blendcor Pty Ltd, must contact the HSSEQ Manager together with the above AEL reference number, name and contact details. A digital copy of the AEL will be available for review from the HSSEQ Manager. The commenting period will commence on the 01 February to 02 March 2026.
