PUBLIC PARTICIPATION NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN IN TERMS OF REGULATION 4 (2) OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT REGULATIONS OF 2014 FOR THE ISSUANCE OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORISATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 24 OF THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT ACT (NEMA), 1998 (ACT 107 OF 1998) AS AMENDED READ WITH REGULATION 19 OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (EIA) REGULATIONS, 2014 FOR MINING PERMIT OF CHROME ORE, COPPER ORE, PLATINUM GROUP METALS AND VANADIUM ORE ONLY ON THE FARM WITKOPJE 241 KS, SITUATED IN POLOKWANE LOCAL MUNICIPALITY: LIMPOPO REGION.

The notice serves to notify all registered Interested and Affected Parties that the Department of Mineral Resources (DMR) has issued an Environmental Authorization (EA) to
Rock Refiners (Pty) Ltd, for the project as indicated above. Should you wish to appeal any aspect of the decision, you must submit the appeal to the Minister of Environmental Affairs and a copy of such appeal to the Department of Mineral Resources (Limpopo Regional Office), within 20 days from the date of notification, and such appeal must be lodged as prescribed in by Chapter 2 of the National Appeal Regulations of 2014.
