Notice of the Prospecting Right Application: Bhalenhle Trading Enterprise CC has lodged an application for Prospecting Right with DMPR Ref: KZN 30/5/1/1/2/12189 PR for the purpose of prospecting for Coal and Aluminium Ore on Portion 0 and Portion 2 of the farm Elandsklip 2951 Within the Magisterial District of Newcastle, KwaZulu Natal Province. Notice is hereby given in terms of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA) (Act 28 of 2002) and EIA regulations 2014, published under Government Notice No. 982 in Gazette No. 38282 of 8 December 2014, amended on 7 April 2017, and amended by GN517 of 11 June 2021 that Bhalenhle Trading Enterprise CC has applied for a prospecting right for the above-mentioned mineral. Invitation to Comment Registration as Interested & Affected Party: As part of the EIA process, more especially the Public Participation Process (PPP) for this proposed project, Interested and Affected Parties (I&APs) are invited to register and kindly submit any comments or concerns to reach Mr. Daneil Tshinavhe using the contact details provided below. The public is also invited to review and comment on the Draft Basic Assessment Report (DBAR) and Environmental Management Programme Report (EMPr). The DBAR & EMPr will be available for review for 30 days calendar period from the 5th of May 2026 to the 3rd of June 2026.
