ADMINISTRATION CLERK: WAREHOUSE: POMONA
Requirements:
– Matric supported by at least 4 years of experience in a similar position.
– Experience in the long-distance road transport industry and knowledge of road transport/cross- border documents will count in your favour.
-Computer literate.
– Experience of office/warehouse administration and customer service.
Duties include but is not limited to:
– Complete way bills and update system on computer.
– Check documents for completeness.
-Communication with clearance agents. – Marking of loads in warehouse in the prescribed manner. – Customer service and following up documents with customers. – Keep records of customer information. – Handle administrative duties according to the provisions of the internal systems and practises.
Characteristics of the successful candidate: – Accurate, meticulous and system driven. – Good problem- solving skills.
– Ability to function and perform independently and under pressure. – Good planning, prioritization and time-management skills. – Must be available after hours and possess own transport.
