LOCAL AUTHORITY NOTICE MOGALAKWENA MUNICIPALITY SPECIAL CONSENT APPLICATION

NOTICE OF A SPECIAL CONSENT APPLICATION FOR A CONFERENCE VENUE AT MOUNT GRACE, ON THE REMAINDER OF PORTION 19 OF THE FARM AMATAVA 41-KS, LIMPOPO IN TERMS OF SECTION 16(1) OF THE MOGALAKWENA LAND USE MANAGEMENT BY-LAW, 2016. I, Phillipus Albertus du Plessis, being the applicant and authorised agent of the property owner of the Remainder of Portion 19 of the Farm Amatava 41-KS (Mount Grace), hereby give notice in terms of Section 16(1)(f) of the Mogalakwena Municipality Land Use Management By-law, 2016, that I have applied to the Mogalakwena Municipality for Special Consent in terms of Section 16(1) of the said By-law, read together with the provisions of the Mogalakwena Land Use Scheme, 2008. The intention of the application is to obtain Special Consent to operate a Conference Venue on the above-mentioned property. Any objection(s) and/or comment(s), including the grounds for such objection(s) and/or comment(s) with full contact details (without which the Municipality cannot correspond with the person or body submitting the objection and/or comment), shall be lodged with, or made in writing to: The Manager: Planning and Development, PO Box 34, Mokopane, 0600, or emailed to the Town Planning Department via: mashothal@mogalakwena.gov.za and thokal@mogalakwena.gov.za Full particulars and plans may be inspected during normal office hours at the Municipal offices as set out below, for a period of 28 days from the date of first publication of this notice. The 28-day notice period is from 30 May 2026 until 27 June 2026. Closing date for any objections and/or comments is 27 June 2026. Any person who cannot read or write may, during office hours, attend the Office of the Municipal Manager, where a municipal official will assist that person to transcribe and lodge their comment or objection.
