NOTIFICATION OF BASIC ASSESSMENT: PROPOSED FUEL FILLING STATION IN STERKWATER (GA-PILA), LIMPOPO PROVINCE Notice is hereby given of an application for Environmental Authorisation for the proposed development of a fuel filling station in Sterkwater (Ga-Pila), Limpopo Province. Proposed Activities: The proposed development will include the construction of a fuel filling station with a total storage capacity of 230 000 litres with 138 000 litres for petrol storage and 92 000 litres for diesel storage. The construction will also include four fuel pumps, fuel dispensing area and canopy, office facilties, ablutions, convenience store and tyre shop. Project Location: The proposed development is located within the Mogalakwena Local Municipality, outside the town of Sterkwater (Ga- Pila), Limpopo Province. Approximate coordinates: 2402`54.3″S, 2849`59.5″E. Environmental Authorisation Requirements: The proposed development requires Environmental Authorisation in terms of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998), under Listing Notice 1, GNR 983 as amended, Activity 14 and 27, and Listing Notice 3, GNR 324 as amended, Activities 12.
