TECHNICIAN (HYDRAULICS & HEAVY VEHICLE SPECIALIST) Location: Biaton Paving CNR R40 and Plaston Roads White River Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Forklift Technician to join our transport department. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in forklifts, hydraulic systems and heavy vehicles and will be someone we can build a long-term future with. Key Responsibilities
•Diagnose, repair and maintain forklifts and hydraulic systems (including truck-mounted cranes).
•Service and maintain Mercedes-Benz and UD trucks within the transport fleet.
•Inspect, troubleshoot and repair air brake systems.
•Conduct routine maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety standards.
•Work effectively under pressure in a busy transport department.
•Maintain accurate service records and provide technical support to operations. Requirements
•Minimum 5 years` experience working on forklifts.
•Proven experience with hydraulic systems (truck-mounted cranes essential).
•Experience working on Mercedes-Benz and UD trucks.
•Strong knowledge of air brake systems.
•Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
•Commitment to long-term growth and development within the company.
