TURNER / MACHINIST (QUALIFIED OR SEMI-QUALIFIED) Location: White River Mpumalanga Position Type: Full- time Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing / Machining Workshop Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Turner / Machinist to join our engineering workshop in White River. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating both manual/conventional lathes and milling machines to manufacture, repair, or modify precise mechanical components. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate conventional lathes (turning) and milling machines. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical sketches. Machine components to exact tolerances and specifications. Inspect finished components using micrometres, verniers, and gauges to ensure quality control. Perform routine maintenance on workshop machinery and ensure a safe working environment. Requirements & Qualifications: Qualifications: Trade Tested Turner / Fitter & Turner (Red Seal) OR Semi-Qualified with extensive verifiable workshop experience. Experience: Proven track record in both turning and milling processes. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the White River/Nelspruit area.
