Bruces spruce up at Lyn Wild pairs

A reminder to members of the club's Christmas Eve get together in Vic’s bar from 3.30pm to 7pm (last round at 6.30pm) for all members and friends.

SIXTEEN teams competed in the Lyn Wild’s pairs on Wednesday.

Honey Kitchenbrand (R40) and Keith Wild (R20) won the 60/40 board and Mark ‘Wacko’ Jackson won the meat raffle.

First session winners were Eric Smit and Bob Hayward with a 2+14. Keith Wild and William Richardson won the second session with 2+10, but the overall winners on the day were the hubby and wife team of Joan and Alan Bruce who managed a creditable 4+22 to take the main prize. There were no winners in the lotto which is a carry over.

Due to the early deadline this week, it was not possible to report on the results of the fours skins which will appear in the first edition of 2015. Suffice to say that Acutts Real Estate have now taken over the main sponsorship of the event, which will thus be called the Acutts fours skins from now on.
