JOIN Durban Ramblers Hiking Club as it sets out to explore Hillcrest and Mt Moreland this weekend.
On Saturday, 17 November hikers will visit Hillcrest Rail and Springside Nature Reserve with hike leader Sue
Call her on 079-980-0488 about this grade two/easy 8km walk along ‘reclaimed’ railway, through Hillcrest, over grassland, and into Springside Nature Reserve. Join in for drinks afterwards at Station Masters’ Arms. Donation R20. Meet at 1.45pm at Station Masters’ Arms in Inanda Road, Hillcrest.
On Sunday, 18 November hikers will visit Mt Moreland for a surprise outing with hike leader Jon (082-459-1522). Join Jon as he explores new routes around Mt Moreland. He has never been on some of them, so arrive prepared. Buy your own drinks and snacks to celebrate your safe return afterwards. Petrol sharing costs R15. Meet in time for a 7.30am departure from Virginia Airport or for 8am from Mt Moreland village green.
